CHANGES

White Mountain hikers are urged to send us any changes in the text descriptions that inevitably occur due to the passage of time.  Send these to HighTopPress@aol.com.    We will post them here.  If space is limited, changes will be prioritized and edited to reduce length.

   1.  Due to new milepost signs erected on I-93, the last sentence in paragraph two on page 182 should read "If one drives northbound on I-93, this pair (Mts. Liberty and Flume) is easy to spot off to the right, especially near Milepost 92.2.  (source...the author)

CORRECTIONS

Readers are also invited to send corrections to the website listed above.

     1.  On page, 119 the second line refers to Peru Township's Black Mountain. Page 121 refers to a Black Mountain located on the USGS topographical map known as the Buckfield Quadrangle.  We are referring to the same peak. However the inconsistency might confuse the reader. Similarly on page 119, fourth paragraph, we talk about Peru's Tumbledown Dick Mountain which is also designated on page 121 as being located in the Buckfield quadrangle....same Tumbledown.

     2.  Page 120: Mt Misery should be listed as being 35 miles away, not 15.  Mt Tire'm is 16 miles away, not 46.
